This a great place and location. Unit is very quiet and has more space/ closet storage than I was expecting. It’s in manhattan so temper your expectations accordingly. Laundry in the basement is a life saver and machines work great and were free. 10 minute or less walk from multiple subway stations to get anywhere.

We had a good stay at this quite spacious - especially for NY standards- apartment. The location is fantastic, close to a big metro station, walking distance to Central Park and next to Trader’s Joe. Since the apartment is at the back of the house, it was also very quiet. All amenities are there and the beds are comfortable. The host was very responsive and pro-active in resolving issues. Two drawbacks for us, though these might be NY ‘standards’: the apartment had almost no natural light, and there were cockroaches in the basement (where the laundry machines are) and a few in our apartment.

I stayed in this place for 1 month, everything was great, except the heating system/pipes that made terrible loud noises at fixed hours, especially during night, because the building had a regulated heating plan scheme, not the owner’s fault here.

The airbnb is a good place to stay for a long duration of time. It’s a very convenient place to live and there’s nice restaurants and bars near by. There’s also a trader joe’s 2 minutes away. We did run into some issues with the wifi and small maintenance issues like paint falling off a pipe and the sink leaking water due to the building being old, but the host was pretty responsive to fixing these issues. Also the Airbnb can get loud at night.
